Dan and Kathy are a mid 60’s couple living in Sussex Wisconsin. They’ve been married for 45 years, having first met as high school sweethearts. Both have enjoyed long professional careers, he in manufacturing quality and purchasing, she in information technology, and now it’s time to enjoy planning for the “career of retirement”.
They have two kids, a daughter and a son, both married. One (the son) lives with his wife and two boys relatively close. The other (the daughter) lives out of state with her husband. The out of state daughter gives them a reason to enjoy the mountains of Colorado more frequently than they would otherwise, and the in state son keeps them close to all the activities Wisconsin has to offer.
There is one family member still living at home – their 12 year old Springer Spaniel “pup”, Tyler. He sleeps a little more as he’s gotten older, but that’s just so he can recharge and still act like a puppy when he’s awake!
Dan and Kathy both enjoy traveling, the outdoors, festivals and farmers markets. Dan also enjoys photography, cooking, and food and drink in general. Kathy enjoys needle arts and gardening.
